Maharishi's Absolute Theory of Defense: Sovereignty in
Invincibility

This powerfully written 668-page
pocket-sized book presents a remarkable synthesis between the
holistic and unifying vision of Maharishi Vedic Science and the
most deep and profound principles of modern science. More than 130
pages of detailed footnotes add a layer of Vedic wisdom that is

Maharishi first establishes the
clear need for a new and reliable technology of defense, pointing
out that the real basis of defense is invincibility. The
fundamentals of invincibility from the perspective of Maharishi
Vedic Science are summarized in two verses from the Vedic
Literature:
Tat sannidhau vairatyagah.
(Yog-Sutra, 2.35) "In the vicinity of Yogic
influence—unifying influence, integrating influence, coherent
and harmonious influence—conflicting tendencies do not
arise."
Heyam duhkham anagatam.
(Yog-Sutra, 2.16) "Avert the danger before it arises."

the principles of invincibility in four fields of modern
science—physics, chemistry, mathematics, and
physiology—demonstrating that the qualities of invincibility are
at the basis of our physical world. This detailed section includes
extensive references to the Vedic Literature, and offers a
fascinating introduction to the most universal discoveries in
these four scientific disciplines.
Invincibility is gained by
creating an integrated national consciousness through the Extended
Maharishi Effect, the square root of one percent of the population
practicing the TM-Sidhi program, including Yogic Flying, in one
place. This produces a powerful influence of positively and
harmony which is so abstract that an enemy can never find it or
destroy it.
In conclusion, Maharishi offers
invincibility—the ultimate defense strategy—to every nation,
with the formula: "some small part of the military should
form a Prevention Wing of Yogic Flyers, an auxiliary defense force
to provide absolute defense to the nation."
