On April 26th,
Akshaya Tritiya—the auspicious Day of Lasting Achievements in the ancient Vedic calendar—a global ceremony was held by the World Federation of Traditional Kings to honor the parental role of administration maintained by traditional rulers of the world.
From India, Land of the Veda, to the rainforests of Latin America, the islands of the Philippines, the heartland of Russia—Rajas, Sultans, Chiefs, Elders, Reys and Caciques were celebrated as Traditional Kings for their example of loving administration of society that mirrors the way Nature provides for all of creation like a compassionate and caring parent.
These Traditional Kings will now serve as the local units of administration for the Global Country of World Peace, so that administration through Natural Law is upheld around the world.
Traditional peoples of every land understand that it is Natural Law that promotes the evolution of life everywhere. The precious heritage of the Mother Tongue and cultural tradition they maintain is based on the local expression of Natural Law in the climate and geography where they live.
Maharishi has established the World Federation of Traditional Kings to bring the complete scientific knowledge of Total Natural Law—the Constitution of the Universe—to the traditional rulers of the world so that every culture will be quietly nourished by Natural Law to blossom in vitality and richness in spite of the many challenges to cultural integrity today.
In addition, Maharishi's programs for economic development through Vedic Organic Agriculture will help traditional peoples grow in affluence and self-sufficiency using the Natural Law of their own land. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design villages are also planned to promote good fortune, health and happiness.
On this basis, traditional peoples are enjoying a new awakening of Natural Law that will enrich the whole world family. For this reason it is a joy to honor Traditional Kings around the globe as the glorious bright stars in the world for the light of peace perpetual.
